Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to build and maintain the server-side systems powering our AI-driven project management platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
• Build robust and secure database architectures
• Integrate AI/ML models into production systems
• Optimize system performance and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams
• Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Deep understanding of database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of security best practices
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
